Are you wanting to make changes in your life to improve your health, but the changes never seem to stick? Are you having trouble sleeping and lay awake worrying at night? Do you feel less engaged with life? Have you recently lost a loved one, or need help adjusting to significant changes in your life? Do you find yourself feeling frustrated and irritable easily? Are you withdrawing from family and friends, or finding that things no longer interest you? Have people told you that you should seek support, but are not sure what this will involve?

I work with people from all walks of life, including: people having difficulties with their emotions, people struggling with health conditions, parents grappling with the demands of parenting. I can also work with adolescents who are experiencing worries, sadness, or emotional difficulties, if they would like to engage over the internet.

I would like the opportunity to work with you to help you understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, to set goals for the future that align with your values, and help you identify your strengths, and barriers in your life.

My philosophy is holistic, acknowledging the interactions between lifestyle, environment and stress that impacts on health and mental health (wellness), and the strong link between the mind and the body, which cannot be separated. I have a strong focus in evidence-based interventions and learning, and is also acutely aware that everyone has a spiritual part of themselves that they need to foster.

I am passionate in assisting others to have the best life for themselves, their family, and friends, as well as the environment around them. We have so much power to make a difference and impact the people and the world around us.

I have over 13 years’ experience working in mental health and health care settings. I have worked in a number of children’s hospitals throughout Australia, providing psychological support to children and their families during diagnosis and treatment of chronic illness, trauma and injury, as well as working with adolescents and adults to assist with managing their emotional difficulties.
